Where Cybersecurity Meets Industrial Reality

Returning to Karlsruhe on 15–16 July 2026, the annual event from Wibu-Systems AG once again brings together industrial software vendors, cybersecurity specialists, compliance experts, developers, and technology leaders for two days of discussions centred on secure digital business models, industrial resilience, AI, licensing, and software protection.  

What makes INNO DAYS increasingly relevant is that the conversation has moved beyond traditional “IT security” and into the operational fabric of industry itself. Software is no longer a support layer sitting quietly behind products and services. It has become the product, the revenue model, the compliance surface, and increasingly the operational risk and this changes the nature of cybersecurity entirely.

Across Europe in particular, regulations such as the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), NIS2, and growing software supply chain obligations are forcing organisations to think differently about how software is developed, protected, monitored, licensed, updated, and ultimately trusted over time. The old separation between security, licensing, compliance, and operational governance is beginning to collapse into a single strategic problem.

More “how do we actually run this securely at industrial scale without everything catching fire by Thursday afternoon”.

In the current climate, that may be the more useful conversation.
